From June 21-29 the Woodland Hills Youth were on a mission trip to Puebla, Mexico with Esperanza Viva Orphanage. Sometimes good hearted people, who are trying to follow Christ, mistakenly believe that "turning the other cheek" means that someone who is abusing them is allowed to continue - the victim is merely supposed to forgive. The truth is that abuse is driven with the kingdom-of-the-world principle of power over others, and the goal of the enemy is to keep the victim living in this lie.
