Counseling Assessments: Crisis in-person or phone assessments are provided for individuals, couples or families who attend Woodland Hills and are experiencing various life problems. After an assessment, options are given for short- or long-term counseling as well as other resources within the Woodland Hills body or the larger community.
- Renovation Counseling Center / Lay Counseling Ministry – For Woodland Hills' attendees that need ongoing counseling and are unable to access professional counseling due to lack of insurance coverage or limited finances, referrals are made to the Renovation Counseling Center, our lay counseling ministry. Trained volunteers, supervised by our Care Ministry staff, offer TNT-based counseling for up to 12 sessions.
- Professional Christian Counselor Referral List – The Woodland Hills Care Ministry maintains a list of many area professional Christian counselors. All of the counselors have been screened by our staff. Many of the counselors accept insurance or have sliding fee scales. Care Ministry staff will offer 2-3 suggestions based on the individual's needs. Download our Counselor Referral list. The list is also available in the Care section of our Gathering Area or by mail upon request.
