About Alpha

Looking for answers? The Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening manner in 10 thought provoking sessions. It's low key, friendly and fun!

Anyone interested in finding out more about the Christian faith. Adults of all ages welcome.

Learning and laughter. It is possible to learn about the Christian faith and to have fun at the same time.

People meeting together. It is an opportunity to get to know others and to make new friends.

Helping one another. The small groups give you a chance to discuss issues raised during the talks.

Ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is seen as too simple or too hostile.

Who is Alpha For?

Alpha is a practical introduction to the Christian faith. It is for new Christians and those who are curious or have questions about the Christian faith. Alpha is for adults 18 and over.

After practicing Buddhism for 30 years and not seeing any significant change in her life, Lana wanted more. “There was quite a bit of searching going on in me still.”

Dave Skramstad was looking for some answers. He found the Alpha Course while surfing Woodland Hills’ website and decide to attend the course. Now Dave’s life is different.

"I was a Christian before but fell out of it,” says Charmin Jones. “When I went back to church it seemed like everyone was in awe of something, and I wanted to know what it was.

Growing up in Frankfort, Germany, Nino Dreger had little or no Christian influence in his life. But after taking the Alpha Course, Nino is developing a relationship with Jesus Christ.
