The Nielsen’s are full-time missionaries, serving Living Hope International. Living Hope is a residential youth home for orphaned, abandoned and hurting children located in Puebla, Mexico. They moved to Puebla in October, 2003. A little over a year later, in November 2004 they quickly returned to Minnesota when their son Josiah was diagnosed with Leukemia, a cancer of the blood. For the past three and a half years, the Nielsen’s have been serving as stateside representatives for the organization as Josiah has gone through treatment. Josiah is now healed with a 85% chance that he will never relapse! They are now preparing to move back to Puebla in July 2008!
