    Face to Faith

Boat

Plumbing deep shallows in fear of paralyzation-
Paradox of opposites believing in vitality, fights confusion,
Fusion without lines,
Of definitions searching distinction.

Plumbing deep shallows in fear of paralyzation-
Instead swallowed by breadth of thinness,
Endless short rope distractions,
Attraction pulling in for joy of moments that can kill.

Plumbing deep shallows in fear of paralyzation-Lakeshore
Seeking reflection against surfaces, wondering of love beneath,
Underneath, layer upon layer,
Navigation's compass of one's own choosing,
Itself a needle bouncing, turning,
Trembling for the centerpoint.

Plumbing deep shallows for fear of paralyzation-
A foot's width tiptoes on a shrinking island,
Foundation left reaching, fingertips touching,
Across the span for anchors,
Of souls whose peace is unity in the faces.

Plumbing deep shallows finding the depth of faith,
Faith in all the faces, faith in the One Face.
