    Empty My Pockets

Empty pockets

Lord, my pockets are so full
i have a dirty mouth
shameful thoughts
rude behavior
Lord, my pockets are overflowing
i haven’t loved my neighbor
i used a cuss word
i’m judging others
Lord, I need to empty my pockets-
every day
in every way
with everything
to you

i’ll empty my pockets
i’ll lay my burdens down
i’ll let go and let God
i’ll nail it to the cross
i’ll come, because I’m weary and I need rest
