"Worship is not something you learn to do... It's something we stop forbidding ourselves from doing." – Annie Herring
Woodland Hills is committed to teaching, encouraging, and inspiring authentic, passionate, Christ-focused worship and celebration in all of its biblical forms.
The Centrality of Worship It's our one eternal activity; it's what God has created us to do. "This people I have created for myself that they may proclaim my praise" (Is. 43:21). |

The primary goal of worship at Woodland Hills is to provide opportunities for men and women to experience God's presence in a personal and life-changing way, and for believers to express and deepen their faith, hope and love for our God.
However, we recognize that this cannot be achieved by human means, but only by God's own hand. It is through prayer that we seek God's guidance in every aspect of our worship. It is by God's power that He does far more than we could ever do. |

Worship is a vital part of the ministry of Woodland Hills Church. About 70 people sing in the choir, which has truly become a means for increased participation in worship by a diverse array of Woodland Hills attendees.

A great understanding of worship can be found in John 4:23-24. Jesus said, "yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."
We believe it's our call to worship the Lord all the days of our lives from the depths of our souls. Like a love that never grows old, our passion and love for Him should continue to burn strong and be outwardly bold. |
